My article “Decarbonizing the cement industry in Latin America and the Caribbean”, co-authored with A. González-Quiroga and O. Pupo-Roncallo, was published in the August 2026 issue of International Cement Review.
The article reviews near-term decarbonization options for the region and what it would take to move next-generation projects forward, covering alternative fuels, plant modernization, electrification, and CO₂ infrastructure. A sample of the issue is available online.
